I'm leaving for vacation this week and I couldn't be more happier. Beach, here I come! But I can't leave my blog unattended and leave all of you without yummy recipes, I'll be on vacation but the blog won't. So, be sure to stop by and expect yummy and easy recipes for the upcoming days.
This mushroom and cheese appetizer it's killer and it'll impress your guests, that's for sure! It's a perfect combination of flavors between mushroom, blue cheese and pesto. Take a look:
1 naan bread
2 tablespoons pesto
1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
1 cup white mushrooms, sliced
2 strips cooked smoked bacon, crumbled
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium/high heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for a couple of minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Meanwhile, pre heat oven to 375 degrees. Place naan on a non stick baking sheet, bake for 5 minutes, flip it and bake for 5 minutes more. Remove crispy naan bread from oven. Spread pesto evenly on naan bread, add mushrooms, crumbled blue cheese and bacon. Cut into pieces and serve. Enjoy!
