Ian's 2nd Birthday Party: Thomas the Tank Engine Party

Monday, February 3, 2014

This past Saturday we celebrated Ian's 2nd birthday
with a party inspired by Thomas the tank engine.
Since Ian loves trains it wasn't too difficult to choose a party theme.

The party was held in our home, I had fun setting up the
decorations with my husband, baking cupcakes, making sweet treats,
and cooking the food for our guests. For the food, I decided this year
to make pasta. I made two pastas: ziti with meatballs and vodka sauce
and rotini with chicken and alfredo sauce, they were both equally delicious.
Take a look:

This beautiful cake was made by a friend of mine. I loved it!

The birthday boy!

Every time he would see the camera, he said: cheese!!

He really tried to blow out his candle, I just helped a little.
