Snapshots!

The only camera that I've been using the last
couple of weeks has been the one on my phone.
I've taken some cute snapshots of my kids,
some of my everyday moments...

That's how my morning usually starts, Sophia and her big smile!

Watching TV with Grandma and Grandpa,
this day Sophia wouldn't let go of her toothbrush
(pay attention to her hand).

Ian sleeping so sweetly.

Sophia showing Ian some love.
My two cutie pies!

5 Minutes Sugar Doughnuts

I love sweets and doughnuts. This recipe is a quick fix to whenever I feel like having a doughnut but don't want to leave the house. It takes about 5 minutes and I get my sugar fix and satisfy my craving! I hope you'll like as much as I do.

Ingredients:
- 1 can (7.5 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated country style biscuits
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)

Directions:
1. In a shallow plate mix the sugar and cinnamon, set it aside.
2. Separate the dough into 10 biscuits.
3. Using a knife, make a little cut in the middle of each biscuit. Make the hole bigger by spreading with your fingers(to make look like a doughnut).
4. In a frying pan over medium-high heat, pre-heat the oil.
5. Fry the doughnuts until golden brown on each side.
6. Drain the excess oil of the doughnuts in a lined paper towel dish.
7. Roll the doughnuts in the sugar and cinnamon mix. Enjoy!

It's "Ok" Thursday

Its Ok Thursdays

I'm linking up with
Brunch with Amber
and
A Complete Waste of Makeup.

It's OK...

that I've been total lacking on my posts lately,
hopefully I'll get things back on track.

that I've been taking afternoon naps and suddenly my bedtime curfew changed,
by 10:00 p.m. I'm already passed out.

that all I want to do lately is to stay in my pajamas
all day long, I must change this habit soon.

that even though I'm tired most of the time, I still manage
to get all the chores around the house done. I hate a messy house.

that things seems a little busy lately with the two babies around but
I'm loving everything about it! I love being a mommy!

So, what are you "OK" with today?

Right Now

I got this post idea from Lindsey:

Right now I am…

watching:  the only thing I watch regularly is the food network and the news, ever since "Lost" ended I never got hooked on another TV show.

eating:  a piece of cake that I baked earlier today. Yummo!

drinking:  tons of water and plenty of orange juice. I'm quite addicted to orange juice right now but I'm sure this phase will pass soon.

wearing: black pants, orange top, white cami, my favorite beige cardigan and a pair of socks.
.
avoiding:  getting stressed and doing some heavy work since giving birth.

feeling: a bit tired and sleep deprived.

missing:  my regular schedule but hopefully soon I'll have things back on track.

thankful:  always! for everything, for every blessing and for every little thing.

weather: around  24* right now, we got a little bit of snow last night. I can't wait for warm weather!

praying: about many things...my family, our church and God's direction in all things.

needing: a vacation! anyone with me on this?

thinking: hmmm...I'll keep this a secret. =]

loving: the family moments I get just watching my children. priceless.

and you?  what are you up to?

Some Great News...

My great news is that our baby boy
finally arrived last Monday.
I've started the new year with
a great new addition to our family.
He arrived January 2nd at 11:03 p.m.,
after much debate we finally decided and
named our baby boy: Ian.

It has been a week of adjustments and
getting use to have another baby at the
house, I'm in the most part sleep deprived
and tired but all is worth it. Sophia seems
to like the idea of having a baby brother
around, I'm pretty happy about that
since I thought she was going to be jealous.

I'm just happy that the labor and delivery
were quick, that everything was all right
and our baby is healthy.

1. Getting ready for delivery.
2. Sophia meeting her little brother for the first time.
3. Our bundle of joy: Ian.
4. Sophia & I relaxing and watching TV.

New Year's Eve Recap

As a family tradition we spend NYE
attending our church service and afterwards
we had dinner and time for fellowship.
To me, it's a great way to ring in the
New Year and give thanks for all the
blessings we were given the year of 2011.
It was nice and peaceful,
a night with great food, friends
and family.
A great start to a beautiful new year!

The photos above were taken exactly
after midnight, our first photo as a
family in 2012, it will be the first of
many and also many of great memories.

How was your NYE?
